Make a Table with these 3 Columns
1. What Jesus Said Would Make Us “Blessed”
2. The Blessings Jesus Said Will Come
3. Why a Person Would be Fortunate or Happy
The following go in the first column:
Giving heed to words of the 12 disciples Jesus chose (v. 1)
Ye shall testify that ye have seen me (v.2)
Poor in spirit (v. 3)
Mourn (v. 4)
Meek (v. 5)
Hunger and thirst after righteousness (v. 6)
Merciful (v. 7)
Pure in heart (v. 8)
Persecuted for my name’s sake (v. 10)
Revile and persecute you...say all manner of evil against you falsely (v. 11)
Fill in the other two columns
